WM Systems introduces the new WM-E8 modem

WM Systems, member of the 450 MHz Alliance, has recently introduced the new WM-E8 modem, a compact and cost-effective solution designed to integrate meters and sensors into the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Smart Grid systems. The company is excited to announce the launch of its 450 MHz product variant.

The WM-E8 modem is equipped with multiple interfaces, allowing for the connection of various industrial equipment. These interfaces include RS232 / RS485 ports, Current Loop (CL), and two Digital Inputs (DI). Additionally, an optional Mbus port is available.

WM Systems also offers a DIN-rail router, a compact industrial router ideal for a range of Machine-to-Machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT) applications, including smart metering and industrial automation. This small router can be easily installed on a DIN-rail. It features Ethernet, RS232 and RS485 ports, along with a Digital Input (DI) interface. The router is housed in a plastic IP31 casing that can be securely mounted on a 35mm DIN rail.
