Energy infrastructure company Alliander has announced the acquisition of Inquam Deutschland, operator of a 450 MHz network. Alliander subsidiary 450connect will operate and expand this network with energy industry partners to create a nationwide 450 MHz communications network.The 450 MHz network offers a greater reach and better building penetration than other radio networks. The first customers of 450connect include electricity network operators EWE Netz and Netzgesellschaft Duesseldorf.
