The innovative tool that will provide the internet to agricultural producers in the rural area of Gran Rosario

It is an easily transportable device, which not only serves to connect computers or cell phones, but also gives connection to agricultural tools.

In times where connectivity is a fundamental leg in different areas of production, often getting a good internet connection, especially suburban and rural areas, becomes an odyssey and hinders daily work.

In that regard, rural areas in the region are no exception. “In the villages or towns of the interior one has a connection in the urban area. As you move away, you start to run out of service and directly when you enter the field you lose the signal,” said Marcelo Dumanjó, CEO of Alvis, whose company will soon arrive in Rosario along with an innovative tool that attacks the frequent problem.

“We deployed a Nokia technology network that is aimed at providing connectivity in the field. It means that any field that is under the umbrella of coverage, is fully connected, not only to have internet in the helmet, but to connect all the alternatives and internet devices of the agricultural-livestock industry: cattle caravan meters, silo meters bags, gouaches, weather stations, security cameras, “said Dumanjó, in dialogue with El Puente (Radio Mitre Rosario).

Specifically, the CEO of Alvis explained that it is a fixed and mobile tool, “then one can have the device very simple in your pocket or carry it in the van; it moves and to that device you connect your cell phone, computer, tablet or whatever you want to do in the middle of the countryside and it has perfectly the same level of connectivity as in the urban area”.

Finally, the businessman confirmed that the technology is already present in some Santa Fe localities and will disembark in the Gran Rosario within a year.

“In Santa Fe we have several locations where we are going to deploy, but we are already in Venado Tuerto and we are going to lift the deployment to reach Reconquista in the term of a year or a year and a half. In what is Rosario in particular, we will not provide service in the city but in the suburban and rural points: Gálvez, Bermúdez, Santo Tomé, Funes and all the surrounding towns,” he concluded.
