It also sells battery-powered modems with 5-10 year lifetime for smart water metering (pulse and Mbus). All products are available with 450 & 410 Mhz cellular modules.
It is the first to offer ENCS approved routers for critical infrastructure.
WM Systems sell around 200k devices in 20 countries around the world. The company designed all its products from scratch to provide maximum flexibility. As a result it offers unprecedented customization of its products in case the client needs an extra port, protocol, cable or a new celular module.
Mr. Bela Kormos, CEO of the company is glad to join the Alliance, as he thinks the 410-450Mhz frequencies are the best choice for smart metering applications for utilities.
“We believe the 410-450 Mhz frequencies are the best positioned to become the ultimate frequencies for utility smart metering as those provide the best reach, security and reliability. They allow significantly better propagation and in-building penetration at lower cost. All our products are available with the latest cellular technologies including 450Mhz Cat.M and NB-IoT.”
