ArgoNET selects freeeway and Mavoco for their BSS/OSS Infrastructure

  • freeeway provides its Connectivity Management Platform (CMP) as a Service to ArgoNET to monetize 4G & 5G services in the 450MHz band
  • This co-operation spans a multi-year agreement with the objective to develop the service further in line with customer and market needs

Vienna, Austria – March 2021

After careful consideration during a comprehensive tender process, ArgoNET has selected freeeway and Mavoco to supply their BSS/OSS solutions as the core components to monetize their connectivity services in the 450MHz band.

Freeeway will provide their Connectivity Management Platform (CMP) as a service, including the hosting of the service in its secure, private cloud environment, the operation and monitoring of the platform, as well as the services to manage the data-fills of the platform. In addition, freeeway will cover the entire SIM Card fulfillment process on behalf of ArgoNET. Freeeway utilizes the market-leading CMP of its sister company Mavoco to provision this service.

The project considers the CMP’s full integration towards ArgoNET’s core network infrastructure, enabling the provisioning, real-time control, monitoring, and billing of each connection.

Based on the CMP’s layered architecture, ArgoNET can tailor its go-to-market for large enterprises, value-added re-sellers, and end-customers likewise including customer-specific portal branding capabilities. ArgoNET customers get access to the CMP system enabling them to manage the entire lifecycle of each individual connection, including but not limited to assigning billing profiles and changing their network status.

Thanks to this co-operation, ArgoNET can rollout the services rapidly with limited upfront investments. ArgoNET’s customers benefit from real-time management of each connection and state-oft-the-art dashboard and insights. Furthermore, ArgoNET got a flexible infrastructure to provide tailored pricing models widely accepted in the IoT domain, e.g. prepaid/postpaid options, flexible and static pools, and models per individual SIM card.

The parties signed a multi-year agreement to jointly develop the capabilities of the service in line with customer and market needs.
